Finding a dress for a formal event, whether it be a wedding, charity event or gala can feel overwhelming. Making sure that your dress fits the “black tie” dress code, while also feeling good while wearing it is key.
I recently went to the Young Friends of Rittenhouse Soiree on the Square event. The night was a charity event, benefitting the Young Friends of Rittenhouse – a non-profit organization who works to maintain one of Philadelphia’s most iconic parks: Rittenhouse Square.
The dress code was: Black Tie – everyone was dressed to the nines in long evening gowns of all different colors and cuts.
I ended up wearing the Moon Dress from BHLDN. This dress is truly a mix of elegant, classy and feminine. The bottom of the dress gathers in the most beautiful, yet subtle train.
And there’s beading at the neckline, and around the waist, to draw the eye down the length of the dress. SO GORGEOUS.
So, if you have a formal event or black tie dress code coming up – take a look at BHLDN’s formal dresses. There’s a little something for everyone: prints, solids, sequins + more!
