March Favorites

When I was in high school I was obsessed with watching favorites videos on YouTube. I know that this type of content is a little out dated for 2019, but I love seeing what you gals are currently lovin’. Products that you just can’t live without so I wanted to compile my favorites from March into this blog post! Hopefully you find it fun and useful.

First things first, I’ve been loving all things Amazon – like seriously, did you see my Amazon haul post? I placed a huge order before we went to Miami and, like, I’m obsessed.

Straw Boater Hats

Nothing screams spring more to me than straw hats – boater hats to be specific. These hats are more flat rimmed, they’re not floppy like most beach hats. Not only are they adorable, but they’re also useful for vacation or when the weather starts to get warmer and the sun starts to get stronger!

I never like to get sun on my face (which will bring me to my next product, sunless tanning drops… oh my god.) Anyways, this hat absolutely saved my face in Miami! It provided shade, protection from the sun & a cute accessory to all of my outfits.

Amazon Hexagon Sunnies

One of my hidden talents is finding amazing, affordable sunglasses on Amazon ;). Seriously, there are dupes for every single designer // trendy sunglass out there.

All that it takes is a little bit of searching – but have no fear. I’ve found the perfect dupe for the Ray-Ban Hexagonal Flat Lenses which retail for $160+. These sunnies (pictured above) are on Amazon for $13. I didn’t take them off once while we were in Miami.

Trendy, Affordable Bathing Suits | Amazon

Both of the bathing suits pictured above are from Amazon and I am literally shocked at the quality. You guys LOVED, LOVED, LOVED these suits when I posted them in my Amazon try-on haul. So many of you got them too which makes me so, so happy πŸ™‚

Both suits are amazing quality – identical to those that you find at Target / Forever 21 / etc. I was so shocked at how happy I was with them. But here’s what I’ve found: trendy bathing suits like both of these should be bought on Amazon. Their return policy is second to none. If you try it on, and it doesn’t fit, you can easily return them. No questions asked.

Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops

GUYS – if you don’t take anything else away from this post other than this stuff, I would be happy.

This was the first self-tanning product that I have ever used in my life (besides, like, Jergens when I was in 7th grade). I get it, I’m naturally tan ΒΊ however, the skin tone on my face is much paler than the rest of my body because I’m a psycho about skincare.

I wanted to try out the Isle of Paradise tanning drops to see what all of the hype was about. Additionally, I wanted to find a product that works so that I can stop wearing make up on my face JUST so that I can blend the color on my face with the rest of my body.

And let me just tell you, this stuff works MIRACLES. The first time that I tried it out, I mixed it with a lotion. That’s the idea with these drops: you’re supposed to mix them with another lotion or product. I mixed them with a lotion & applied right before I went to sleep with nothing else on my skin. I woke up the next morning and noticed decent results, but nothing shocking. I wanted to give them another try. So, the next day I mixed the drops with a product that is very similar to the consistency of the actual drops themselves.

I mixed 4 Isle of Paradise tanning drops with a dime-sized amount of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask and left it on my skin with nothing else on it. The next morning, I woke up with sun-kissed skin and was so freaking happy. For the past two days, I haven’t had to wear makeup to work or anything.

Here are some other helpful tips regarding these Isle of Paradise drops. They don’t turn your pillow // towel // clothes orange. The drops themselves are clear, and I have absolutely no idea how they work, but they work (lol).

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

This stuff is Vaseline on crack – seriously. You’re supposed to only use it at night but I use it all day long (lol). I apply it just as I would chapstick and find that it gives my lips the most hydration, ever, while also making them glossy.

Oh, and did I mention that it tastes heavenly?! I can’t even explain the smell / taste because it’s so unique. I’ve been reaching for this stuff non-stop ever since I got it.
