Outfit Deets:
WOW, this weather is amazing. Besides the down pouring rain this morning – could deff do without that – I’m loving this cloudy, cool fall day.
So, in honor of the first day that actually feels like September weather… I’m showing you babes how to style a corduroy jacket.
I can’t even tell you how many times I spelled c o r d u r o y wrong. Curdoroy, cordaroy, cordoroy… KK, pulling out my dictionary app right after writing this. Gotta brush up on my spelling skills, clearly.
Anyways, I’m a big fan of jackets for fall. Moto jackets, corduroy jackets, bomber jackets. To me, they scream fall!
I love the texture of corduroy. Not only is it super soft, but it’s got appeal to it. The thick, textured lines help to draw the eye down.
Rusty orange / deep orange is one of my fave fall colors (besides navy, hehe). I can’t wait for all of the leaves to start changing colors. So, since this color is so bright you’ve gotta pair it down with a more casual top + pair of jeans.
These busted knee jeans from Free People are honestly, my favorite jeans ever. First of all, they’re so comfy + easy to bend in because of the busted knee, hahaha. BUT, they’re so stylish + trendy. You can dress ’em up with heels, or dress ’em down with a pair of platform slip ons.
This outfit is perfect for a movie date night, or walking around the city. Swap out the heels for your favorite pair of booties + you’ve got the perfect fall outfit!
Hope that you’re all enjoying the weather today!
Talk tomorrow,
XO,
Emily
