30 Days of Realness

I’m seriously feeling so inspired by all of the feedback that I’ve gotten on my latest blog post where I talked about self confidence and self acceptance. I think that it was a message that the internet needed to hear. A raw, unscripted and unfiltered brain dump of my challenges in overcoming a lack of self love and self acceptance.

It made me reconnect with the reason why I started this journey in the first place… to give a raw and unfiltered look into an every day twenty three year old’s life, heart and mind. Sure, the fashion posts and styling guides are fun – but that’s not what motivates me to keep going. Connecting on a real level with you all is what drives me. Giving you some words to put on the feelings and emotions that you have or haven’t acknowledged yet makes me feel fulfilled and alive.

I decided to really reconnect with my blog. As I said a few posts back, I’ve been loving to microblog over on Instagram – sharing messages in short snippets and paragraphs with you all. But this space really allows me to run free with my thoughts and have at it.

So, for the next 30 days, I’ve committed to writing a blog post each and every day.

It’s my #30DaysOfRealness promise to you all, and myself. The topics will vary! Some days I’ll write about fashion, skincare and styling (I’ve been super into oil cleansing, healing oils and essential oils ?). Other days I’ll go deep and express what’s on my heart.

Writing is a passion for me. It doesn’t feel like a chore at all. It’s so therapeutic but to be quite frank, it’s hard to find time to do it. It’s one of those things that I know I need to do, but never make it a priority because much of my focus is on microblogging and engaging with the community on Instagram.

So, with that said, I hope that you all follow along and we take these next thirty days to really get to know each other.

I’m so excited to start! Here’s to the next 30 days,
